Have you ever bought a book and never opened it? Or started reading one, only to get distracted a couple of days later by something that seemed more important at the time? You’re not the only one.

Reading a good book can change how you think, how you see the world, and how you live your life but only if you follow through. Most people stop halfway, don't even start or never take the time to reflect on what they’ve read. The book club is here to help you stay committed, keep momentum and turn what you read into a part of your everyday life.

We read together, reflect together, and share what we learn along the way. Every book we choose connects to some kind of growth or learning, it can be mindset, performance, or any kind of improvement but the focus is always on understanding, reflection, and implementation.

The Structure

The book club runs through a WhatsApp group where all communication happens. Every Sunday, the upcoming week’s chapters are posted (usually around 100–200 pages, depending on the book). Throughout the week everyone reads the same chapters, and every Sunday each member posts their reflections.

Your post doesn’t have to be long or perfect. It can be something you learned, something you didn’t quite understand and want to discuss, or how you’re planning to implement what you learned into your life that week. What matters is that you read, reflect, and post something.

This rhythm keeps everyone on track and creates a space where ideas can be shared, challenged, and expanded. The reading list is a mix of books across different areas of life. Usually, we follow the reading list found on The Bookshelf, though sometimes we vote or take suggestions from members when it’s time to pick the next read.

Stephen R. Covey (1989)

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is a classic guide to personal and professional effectiveness built on timeless principles of character, integrity, and self-mastery. Stephen Covey organizes the journey into seven progressive habits: from dependence to independence, and ultimately to interdependence. The first three habits — Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, and Put First Things First — focus on personal leadership and self-discipline. The next three — Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood, and Synergize — strengthen relationships and teamwork. The final habit — Sharpen the Saw — emphasizes continual growth and renewal. Covey’s framework blends practicality with deep moral insight, teaching that true effectiveness comes not from quick fixes, but from aligning one’s actions with principles that build trust, balance, and lasting success.

Don Miguel Ruiz (1997)

The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom

The Four Agreements is a spiritual and philosophical guide based on ancient Toltec wisdom, offering a simple yet profound code of conduct for achieving personal freedom and inner peace. Don Miguel Ruiz identifies four core agreements to live by: Be impeccable with your word, Don’t take anything personally, Don’t make assumptions, and Always do your best. Each agreement helps break self-limiting beliefs and emotional patterns that cause unnecessary suffering. Ruiz explains how much of human behavior is shaped by “the domestication of the mind” — societal conditioning that leads to fear and self-judgment. By adopting these agreements, readers can transform their relationships, communication, and self-image. The Four Agreements is ultimately a manual for reclaiming personal power and living with authenticity, clarity, and love.
